Aloha ‘Aina Awards 2018: Deadline Approaching to Nominate Your REALTOR®
Owning a home provides more than just shelter and security. It promotes a healthy economy, fosters participation in local communities, and inspires the upkeep and improvement of properties. Homeownership also defines communities and aids in developing a strong sense of place. Additionally, owning a home opens doors to new family memories and experiences.
For most people, buying a home will be the biggest purchase they will ever make. Working with a professional in the real estate industry has proven to be a wise decision, especially for first-time homebuyers. REALTORS® are bound by a strict Code of Ethics, which protects and promotes the interests of clients by providing honest treatment throughout any transaction. Successful REALTORS® go above and beyond for their clients. In many cases, relationships between REALTORS® and clients continue beyond the transaction and result in long-lasting friendships.
For that reason, the Aloha Aina REALTOR® Awards Program was established by the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®, Honolulu Star-Advertiser, and First Hawaiian Bank in 1998 to recognize and honor REALTORS® for extraordinary service to their client, colleagues and the community.
Each year, six judges face the difficult challenge of evaluating hundreds of REALTORS® and well over 1,000 nominations to select 10 winners who represent the best of the best in the Honolulu real estate community in the areas of professional expectations, exceptional service, thorough follow-through, and fair dealings.
If you have purchased a home after Sept. 1, 2017 and/ or will close before Aug. 31, 2018, we invite you to nominate your REALTOR® for this prestigious award. Nominations must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. HST on Sept. 5. Visit hicentral.com and click on About HBR and Awards Programs to nominate your REALTOR® today!
