Expansion of Hokulia Community Continues

The new developer, 1250 Oceanside LLC, announced that 74 custom lots ranging in size from one to two acres are now available in Phase I, Mahea Lani, and that reservations are being taken for premier oneto two-acre lots in Phase II, Nalu Kai, which will feature “front row” oceanfront lots. The offering also includes two spec custom homes and designed/ready-to-build homes.

The centerpiece of the new community is the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, which extends from sea level to an approximately 400-foot elevation and offers dramatic ocean and mountain views from every hole.

Around 180 lots were sold by the previous developer, Lyle Anderson, and approximately 14 luxury homes have already been built with seven more under development. 1250 Oceanside has made substantial investments in the project, including the funding of the newly completed Mamalahoa Highway Bypass roadway, extensive onsite utility and roadway infrastructure and new amenity facilities. The developer also is working on the creation of a three-mile Shoreline Park.

The expansion of the Club at Hokulia is scheduled for completion in the spring and will feature a new pro shop, locker room/ lounge facilities, two tennis courts, lap pool, open-air yoga studio, two bocce courts, events lawn, outdoor bar, fitness facility and spa. Also, the adjacent Pavilion Restaurant has recently been renovated. Each Hokulia property buyer shares in ownership of the Club, which is expected to ensure the ongoing operations and maintenance of amenities and competitively lower association fees as compared to other island luxury residential communities.

The first phase of completed infrastructure includes a new 24-hour-staffed main entry with greeter’s hale and an upgraded water reclamation facility. The Club at Hokulia is currently working on the development of a solar power system to provide cost-effective irrigation water services.
