Homebuyers Fair: Homebuilding by Hawaii’s Best
Exciting times are happening for Atlas Construction, a family-run homebuilding company that has been voted first place as “Hawaii’s Best” contractor for the past five years in a row in Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s People’s Choice Awards for quality work and dedicated customer service. Together with the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Bank of Hawaii, and Coldwell Banker Properties, Atlas Construction will be hosting free workshops on Home-building in Hawaii at the Homebuyers Fair, Saturday, July 14 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
“For the last 5 years, we have focused our attention on buying and selling real estate at the Homebuyers Fair,” said Cyd Kamakea, advertising manager at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. “This year, we are excited to have Atlas Construction joining us to discuss homebuilding and renovation, as an option to buying or selling.”
As a full-service design-build contractor and licensed subcontractor, Altas specializes in building homes from the ground up, home remodeling, home additions, and kitchen and bath renovations. “Here at Atlas Construction, we’re all about family,” said Vice President Rodney Kim. “We make sure that customers are treated like family, with integrity, honesty and respect.”
Communication is key, which is why Kim makes sure to explain the whole process from the beginning. The first step is helping customers figure out a realistic and clear budget. Next is the design consultation, which includes a site visit. From there, Kim and his staff will sit with clients to establish payment options for peace of mind. Once permitting is approved, the company moves forward with executing the plan until completion of the project’s construction.
“Many people, who own property in Hawaii, are looking for creative alternatives to selling,” said Kamakea. “Attending Atlas’ workshops are the best opportunity to get advice from a trusted builder. At the very least, you’ll have a deeper understanding of what your options are.”
Besides expert event sponsors, other exhibitors will be there to provide a one-stop shopping experience, making the time well spent at the fair. Additionally, the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® is offering free parking for attendees who pre-register online at hawaiihomebuyersfair.com. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 14 and is located at the Hawaii Convention Center.
