Locations Foundation Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Thirty nonprofit partners receive more than $30,000 combined in support

Today marks the final day of the Locations Foundation’s “30 in 30 for 30” campaign — that’s 30 random acts of kindness to one local family- and child-centered nonprofit each day for 30 days to celebrate 30 years of giving by the charitable organization.

In the past month, Locations Foundation volunteers delivered everything from jump ropes and water bottles to mattresses and computers to organizations across the island, from Waianae to Waimanalo.

“Our agents and staff were so honored to be able to support these deserving local nonprofit organizations this month,” said Kristin Mukai, REALTOR® and president of the Locations Foundation. “I had the privilege of participating in many of our deliveries, and it was so rewarding to be able to fulfill a need in our community, however small.”

Comprised of more than 200 Locations agents and staff, Locations Foundation volunteers donate more than 2,000 volunteer hours to service projects across Oahu each year. In 2017 alone, the Foundation donated more than $300,000 to more than 100 local family- and child-centered organizations, making the Locations Foundation the 26th most charitable organization in Hawaii.
