New Hoakalei Model Homes Open For Touring
Two new home collections were unveiled last weekend at Kuapapa, Hoakalei’s newest neighborhood. Eight model homes in the Loulu and Naio Series bring the resort life within reach in the family-friendly neighborhood of Kuapapa. Designed by Oahu developer Haseko, the new homes are priced from the mid $600,000s.
The Kuapapa neighborhood takes its name -which means “at peace” and “at ease” from the adjacent Kuapapa Preserve, and is the first Hoakalei neighborhood located next to a historic preservation site. Nestled in the natural landscape and accessible by a walking path, the Preserve offers a glimpse into the lives of some of the island’s earliest inhabitants. Remnants of structures made from coral cobbles have attracted the attention of archaeologists and cultural historians and continue to enrich the living heritage of the land and the Hawaiian people.
Next to the preserve, in the interior of Kuapapa, the two new collections of two-story homes feature Haseko’s trademark design and locally sourced craftsmanship. Both the Loulu and Naio Series are unique seaside-style cottages that bring the street to life in a refreshing palette of colors. Ornamental details and custom millwork, such as graceful porch columns and window boxes, distinguish these homes. Thoughtful landscaping enhances the neighborhood.
The Loulu Series features four casually elegant three and four bedroom plans. The Naio Series is larger, with four more spacious four and five bedroom models. Both collections feature open floor plans designed for relaxed, indoor/outdoor living. Flowing from inviting front porches to covered lanai, they make optimum use of living space and sunlight. Both collections are featuring a model with a main floor master bedroom.
As Hoakalei’s resort amenities begin to emerge, Kuapapa is situated to take advantage of them. Residents will have privileged access to the newly opened Wai Kai Hale Club a secluded area where they can launch a kayak, canoe, and paddleboard into the sheltered waters of the spectacular Wai Kai Lagoon. They will enjoy views of the fairways and waterways that border the neighborhood courtesy of Ernie Els and his signature Hoakalei Country Club Golf Course. And there’s more: a neighborhood pool and spa are planned to follow, along with a network of trails and a shoreline wilderness park.
With prices ranging from the mid $600,000s (FS) for the Loulu Series, and from the mid $700,000s (FS) for the Naio Series, the homes of Kuapapa offer a delightful way to enjoy the year-round, family-friendly resort lifestyle of Hoakalei. Eight model homes (four in each series) are open for touring daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more, call 808-200-3211 or go to HoakaleiResidences.com.
