New Townhome Community Launches At Hoakalei
Townhomes are an enduringly popular home style in Hawaii, blending many of the advantages and conveniences of single-family homes and condominiums. Haseko Development Inc. has recently begun marketing the second townhome neighborhood in Hoakalei, its “family friendly” resort community at Ewa Beach. Executive vice president Richard Dunn noted, “These are beautifully crafted townhomes that will really connect with today’s homeowners. Our town-home communities have strong appeal with young families and empty nesters, and when they go on the market, they sell quickly.”
Lei Pauku, Hoakalei’s newest neighborhood, is an enclave of well-designed townhomes located next to Hoakalei Country Club Golf Course.
The two-story, three-bedroom townhomes, available in three different models, range from 1,294 to 1,378 square feet and are priced from the high $500,000s fee simple. All the townhomes feature open living spaces that are framed with nine-foot ceilings on the first floor and feature covered lanais and balconies, spacious master bathrooms, kitchens with stainless-steel appliances, fenced private yards and two-car garages.
The architecture reflects Haseko’s trademark design and locally sourced craftsmanship with a thoughtful combination of a plaster exterior finish system, lap siding and dimensional architectural trim, covered front porches, split-pitch roofs and exposed rafter tails.
Eco-friendly features include double-pane Milgard vinyl-framed windows, central air conditioning with 16-SEER rating and non-ozone-depleting refrigerant, energy-efficient recessed LED lighting in the kitchen and a programmable thermostat.
Lei Pauku at Hoakalei homeowners will have access to Wai Kai Hale Club, a private area at the water’s edge where they can launch a kayak, canoe or paddle-board into the sheltered waters of Wai Kai Lagoon.
Wai Kai Lagoon is the centerpiece of a larger vision for the community that is beginning to take shape with design and pre-leasing of an upscale specialty retail center mauka of the 52-acre lagoon. The retail plan anticipates numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and entertainment venues connected by trails to other parts of the community.
Three model homes at 91-2220 Kawawalo St. in Ewa Beach are open daily for touring from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more, call 200-0214 or go to HoakaleiResidences.com.
