VA Mortgage Center Now In Hawaii
We’ve spent the past five years at VA Loans Hawaii helping veterans take advantage of the benefits earned by their service.
Now our mission to educate military families and the community about the VA home loan program is getting an exciting boost.
I’m proud to announce that VA Loans Hawaii has joined forces with the nation’s Number 1 dedicated VA lender, VA Mortgage Center.com, to create VA Mortgage Center of Hawaii.
This partnership ensures we can better serve veterans and active duty service members in a challenging lending environment. VA Mortgage Center.com and its team of loan experts have streamlined the VA process and worked with more than 500,000 military families since 2003. The company financed more than $1 billion in loans in the last year alone.
We’re teaming with VAMC at just the right time.
Over the last five years, veterans and their families have flocked to the security and unmatched buying power of these government-backed loans. VA loan volume has soared 135 percent since 2006, jumping to 314,011 loans in 2010 from just 133,313 in 2007.
A tighter credit market and sagging housing industry have fueled renewed interest in this long-cherished program. VA loans feature more flexible cred- it and underwriting standards than conventional loans. Qualified service members can purchase a home with no money down and no out-of- pocket costs.
At the same time, VA loans remain the safest lending option on the market.
That combination of purchasing power and protection is pushing thousands of military borrowers to explore the significant home lending benefits earned by their service.
As Hawaii’s first VA Mortgage Center.com branch, we will have direct access to underwriters, loan processors, closers, legal resources, and a marketing team all dedicated to serving those who have served our country. Hawaii’s veterans and their families can rely on the efficiency and expertise of an industry leader without sacrificing local service.
One of VAMC’s core values is to enhance lives every day, and that’s a mission we have embraced throughout these last five years. In that spirit, I will continue to provide free VA loan seminars and promote the significant financial benefits of a loan program that has helped more than 18 million service members become home owners since 1944.
Our name might have changed, but our commitment to serving Hawaii’s military families is the same. In fact, thanks to the nation’s top dedicated VA lender, that commitment is stronger than ever.
